As an ultrasonographer, you’ll use ultrasound technology to perform cool diagnostic procedures like echocardiograms and sonograms for the abdomen and pelvis. You’ll choose the right transducer based on patient needs and use ultrasound equipment to conduct scans.

You’ll also assist doctors with procedures like needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and kidney biopsies. Completing a specialized course in ultrasonic technology or becoming a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) can really boost your career in this field!
